The Sentimental Digital Network always provides ways for activity directors to incorporate important and enjoyable elements into their Activity Calendars. Here are some great tips as you complete your planning for February, March and April.

Line up our videos and excerpts with your calendar:

This package includes two full videos. The first is Songs of Love & Laughter with songs like “It Had To Be You,” “You Made Me Love You” and “I Wonder Who’s Kissing Her Now. It’s fitting for Valentine’s Day but always popular.

The other is our Timeless Trivia program titled Advertising Slogans, Jingles & Taglines.
It’s our most popular trivia episode.

For St. Patrick’s day, our sing-along Irish Songs & Other Folk Favorites is available free under the “Sample Our Content” on the cover page of this web site.

Most of the rest of the videos are shorter, between five and 10 minutes in length. These videos can be grouped together or used as just one part of a larger activity. They are great conversation starters.

Here are the video features:

1. Sentimental Sing-Along: Songs of Love & Laughter.

2. Timeless Trivia: Advertising Slogans, Jingles & Taglines.

3. Black History Month: A look at the March on Washington in 1963, which drew people of all races to demonstrate for jobs and freedom. It was the event where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. made his “I Have A Dream” speech.

4. President’s Day: Our video segment takes us to Springfield, Illinois for a look at the outstanding Abraham Lincoln Museum not far from the only home Lincoln ever owned.

5. Crossing The Delaware: George Washington is famous for crossing the Delaware River during the Revolutionary War. We visit two towns near the point he crossed.

6. First Day of Spring: (March 20) Butterflies and Blooms is a popular program in Columbus, Ohio. It’s ideal for use with other activities celebrating the season.

7. Arbor Day: (March 25) A garden expert extols the virtue of trees and we journey to Nebraska City, Nebraska to explore how Arbor Day began.

8. Baseball Season is here: This timeless video works throughout t baseball season. It’s a visit to the Louisville Slugger Museum, a great look at America’s Pastime.

9. Hoosiers Basketball: Tiny Milan, Indiana’s 1954 state champion basketball team inspired the movie Hoosiers. We visit the Milan ’54 Museum.

10. The Pony Express: The Pony Express only lasted 18 months but its brief existence is prominent in the history of the Old West.

This digital video package is intended for use to brighten activities using familiar themes, images and sounds during the holiday season. It includes two full 30-minute sing-along programs, each with about a dozen songs.

There are also video segments of Christmas trees, toy trains, a bell choir and a town adorned with Charles Dickens-like characters. And the story about the World’s Largest Toy Store is both unusual and enjoyable.
